Exhibition Histories Talks: Clémentine Deliss – video online
On Thursday 19 June, curator Clémentine Deliss joined Afterall and Whitechapel Gallery for the sixth in our series of talks analysing exhibitions through the personal accounts of the curators responsible for them.
Clémentine Deliss focused on the research process that lead to the 1995 exhibition ‘Seven Stories About Modern Art in Africa’, which sought to provide a context for twentieth century African art. After the talk, Deliss was joined in conversation by curator Elvira Dyangani Ose.
This events series is a collaboration with the Whitechapel Gallery, London and part of the Exhibition Histories research and publication project, led by Afterall in collaboration with the Center for Curatorial Studies, Bard College.
