Fischli and Weiss: The Way Things Go, CRATE, Margate

06 apr 2012
Public talk
CRATE, United Kingdom.

On Friday 6 April 2012, Crate Studio and Project Space in Margate will screen Fischli and Weiss’s wonderful The Way Things Go with an introduction by One Work author Jeremy Millar.

The Way Things Go (Der Lauf der Dinge, 1987) features a series of chain reactions involving ordinary objects. The film embodies many of the qualities that the work of Fischli and Weiss is known for: slapstick humour and profound insight; a forensic attention to detail; a sense of illusion and transformation; and a dynamic exchange between states of order and chaos.

Copies of the Afterall One Work book Fischli and Weiss: The Way Things Go by Jeremy Millar will be available on the night.
